Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Pre-moon
105.012-65 reference
228240XX serial number circa 1965 production
Excellent vintage condition case with clearly defined edges/lugs. Original low pushers. Winding crown has been replaced during past service perhaps.
Dial is an extremely attractive, truly tropical original dial with vivid caramel brown color. All the pictures were taken outside, in natural light, under overcast sky. No flash or artificial lighting. No relume and no refinish, nice patina on plots.
Bezel is a DON with signs of wear, but also clearly aged to brown color.
Bracelet is an Omega 7912 with 16 end-links and ’65 date code. Fits a large wrist, about 8″
Caseback is original, shows clear Hippocampus in back. Inside is stamped 105.012-65
No box or papers. No documented service history. The watch winds, runs, and chrono operates as it should.
